Install the Photoz plug-in on Windows

Unzip the download and add it in Lightroom Classic's Plug-in Manager. It takes about five minutes.

Unzip the file

Right-click Photoz-Lightroom-Windows.zip and choose Extract All.

The extracted folder contains a Photoz.lrplugin folder.

Lightroom cannot read the plug-in while it is still inside the zip, even if you opened it with a double-click. Extract it first.

Move the folder somewhere it can stay

Move the Photoz.lrplugin folder to a place like your Documents folder.

Lightroom reads the plug-in from that folder. If you clean up Downloads and delete it, the plug-in disappears.

Add it to Lightroom Classic

In Lightroom Classic, open File › Plug-in Manager.

Click Add at the bottom left, select the Photoz.lrplugin folder and click Select Folder.

When Photoz appears in the list with a green dot, you're done. Click Done.

If Photoz is not in the list, check that you extracted the zip in step 1.

Connect and send

Select photos and open File › Export. At the top, set Export To to Photoz and click Connect to Photoz.

Sign in to Photoz in your browser. Check that the code matches the one in Lightroom, then click Allow.

You only connect once. After that you can export right away.

Updating and uninstalling

Update: Lightroom tells you when a new version is out. Download the new zip, extract it and replace the Photoz.lrplugin folder from step 2 with the new one. Restart Lightroom Classic. Your connection stays.

Uninstall: In the Plug-in Manager, select Photoz, click Remove, then delete the folder.

Troubleshooting

I selected the folder, but Lightroom says it is not a plug-in

Extracting can add one more folder level. Select the folder whose name ends in Photoz.lrplugin.

I can't see .lrplugin in the folder name

Windows may be hiding file extensions. Select the folder named Photoz.

Photoz is not in Export To

In the Plug-in Manager, check that Photoz shows as installed and running. Then restart Lightroom Classic.

My browser doesn't open

Click Open Browser Again in the connect window. If that doesn't help, check your default browser in Windows settings.
